The ten terms that change the price
Mark what the quote or contract says. Anything missing or unclear becomes a question to ask.
Questions to ask before you sign
- What is the delivery date, and what credit or exit right do I get for each week of delay?
- Do fees start only after the cluster passes an acceptance test I can run?
- Can I step down the number of GPUs or shorten the term if my needs change?
- Are there price escalators, overage rates or price reviews during the term?
- Can I move to newer GPUs or another region during the term, and on what terms?
- How is the prepayment credited back, and is it refunded if you can't deliver?
- What is the liability cap, and does it cover the fees I've committed?
- Can the prepayment be smaller, or credited back faster?
